Here is more information about earlyvangelists and how you can use them when working on the launch of your product.<\/p>\n<p><b>What are earlyvangelists?<\/b> If you\u2019re unfamiliar with the term earlyvangelist, you may find this short video from Bob Gower helpful. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XEZesMBrtiI\">Bob describes earlyvangelists<\/a> as &#8220;Passionate, early users of new technology or products who understand its value before mainstream markets. Acquiring early adopters is important to jumpstart product adoption.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>(via <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bobgower\">@bobgower<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><b>The most important customer you will ever know.<\/b> In <i>The Four Steps To the Epiphany<\/i>, Steve Blank defines earlyvangelists as: \u201ca special breed of customers willing to take a risk on your startup\u2019s products or service because they can actually envision its potential to solve a critical and immediate problem.\u201d J<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hightechinthehub.com\/2010\/11\/the-most-important-customer-you-will-ever-know\/\">oe Kinsella provides an example of an earlyvangelist <\/a>he had at one of his startups and explains how to find your earlyvangelist.<\/p>\n<p>(via <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/joekinsella\">@joekinsella<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><b>How to validate your customer problem and find your earlyvangelists.<\/b> When you\u2019re working on a new product you want to be able to validate your customers\u2019 problems. You want to understand the jobs your customer is trying to get done and the, pains they would like to alleviate. And, you want to determine whether your customers are willing to pay to address those pains. In it, he talks about building a \u2018small army.\u2019 No, this isn\u2019t about war.
